Help and answers

Frequently asked questions.

Getting started.

No, not to book a private session. You only need a GP referral and a mental health treatment plan if you would like to claim a Medicare rebate.

We often have new client appointments available this week, and you can see current times when you book online.

Book online in a few minutes, or call us and we will help you find a time and the right psychologist.

Fees and funding.

A standard session is $245. Couples sessions are private only, with the fee available on enquiry. Assessment fees are on each assessment page.

With a GP referral and a mental health treatment plan, Medicare rebates $101.55 per eligible session with a registered psychologist, which leaves about $143.45 out of pocket on a $245 session, for up to ten individual sessions a calendar year.

No, we do not bulk bill. Medicare rebates part of the fee and you pay the gap.

You can claim either a Medicare rebate or a private health rebate for a session, not both. If you would like to use private health cover, check your psychology extras with your insurer.

ADHD and cognitive assessments are generally not covered by a Medicare rebate. We set out the full cost before you begin.

How online therapy works.
