AusCare Psychology

Who we help

Psychologist for children, online.

A psychologist for children can help young people aged seven and over make sense of big feelings, worries and changes, and at AusCare your child can meet one by secure video from the comfort of home. School, friendships and changes at home can all weigh on a child, and the right support can help them feel more settled and understood.

What we help children with.

Our registered psychologists support children with anxiety and worry, low mood, low self-esteem, OCD, ADHD, autism support, emotional and behavioural challenges, and adjusting to change. We also support parents with the challenges of raising a child. Sessions are warm, paced to the child and shaped around their needs.

How it works for families.

A parent or guardian is involved in booking and at the start, and usually takes part in sessions in a way that suits your child's age and needs. We will talk through how that works for your family. Sessions are held by secure video, so your child can join from a familiar space at home. You can book privately, or use a GP referral and a mental health treatment plan for a Medicare rebate on eligible sessions.

Children are seen by Darren Rose, Registered Psychologist, who works with children from age seven, as well as adolescents, adults and couples.

Support that meets your child where they are.
