Counselling
Online counselling, Australia-wide.
Online counselling gives you a steady, confidential space to talk things through with a registered psychologist who is on your side, from wherever you are. Not everything that brings people to therapy has a single name, and you do not need a diagnosis to benefit from support. At AusCare, you can see a psychologist by secure video, anywhere in Australia, with no referral needed to begin.

When counselling helps.
Counselling is for the stresses, decisions, losses and transitions that are part of being human. People come to us when they are navigating a big decision, a change at work or home, caregiver or parenting stress, grief and non-death loss, study or career pressure, relationship and interpersonal challenges, low self-worth, or simply a stretch where everything feels like too much. If you are not sure whether what you are facing counts, it does.

How online counselling works.
Your psychologist listens, helps you make sense of what is going on, and works with you on practical ways forward. Sometimes that is about understanding a pattern, sometimes it is about building skills or confidence, and sometimes it is simply about having a thoughtful person to think alongside. The work is collaborative and paced to you, and it happens over secure video so you can do it from home.

Your first session is about understanding what has brought you here and what you would like to be different. From there you and your psychologist shape a direction together, usually in fifty-minute sessions by secure video, at a pace that suits you.
